Supplier name: Strat-edgy LLP
Publication date: 10th December 2024

Commitment to achieving Net Zero

Strat-edgy LLP is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Baseline Year: 2023

Additional Details relating to the Baseline Emissions calculations.

Our baseline is calculated based on an organisation with 3 Partners full time and 8 Associates that were engaged on average for 50% of the year. Our baseline year started on 15 February 2023.

Our numbers are estimates as we operate a hybrid working model with no fixed office location.

We have estimated Scope 3 emissions based on business related car and train journeys and hotel stays using the UK Government Carbon Emission factors.

EMISSIONS TOTAL (tCO2e)
Scope 1 11,037
Scope 2 1,947
Scope 3 (Included Sources) 2,154
Total Emissions 15,138

Emissions reduction targets

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.

We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 2300 tCO2e by 2029. This is a reduction of 16%.

Progress against these targets can be seen in the graph below:

Carbon Reduction Projects

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives

The following environmental management measures have been implemented since the 2023 baseline, equating to a 500 tCO2e reduction, (3% against the 2024 baseline).

Our policies that have led to the reduction are:

  • Creating a sustainable workplace culture - educate employees about sustainability, encourage practice of sustainable behaviours at work and home, and make sustainability a core value of the company.
  • Reducing energy, waste and water consumption - practice energy and other utility efficiency measures in both our facilities and those of our clients.
  • Use sustainable materials - for packaging, products, and office supplies, such as recycled paper, bamboo, or bioplastics.
  • Waste reduction - reusing and recycling materials and using digital documents instead of paper.
  • Ethical sourcing - partner with suppliers who practice sustainable and ethical sourcing methods, such as Fair Trade.
  • Implement green transportation - encourage employees to use public transportation, bike, or carpool to work, and consider using electric or hybrid company vehicles. Carbon offset any airline travel if such a form of travel is unavoidable.
  • Encourage remote working - offer flexible work arrangements that allow employees to work from home or remotely to reduce commuting and travel-related emissions.

In the future we will implement further measures, including:

  • Transition to electric vehicles.
  • Increase the use of public transport wherever possible.
  • Promote energy efficiency in the home office environment.
  • Greater use of technology and digitisation.
